Ping Proxies Q2 2025 Update: Faster, Smarter, and Better Control

Q2 Ping Proxies Updates.png

We’re excited to share our progress with you. The second quarter of 2025 was all about building for speed, visibility, and control. To achieve this, we upgraded key parts of our infrastructure and introduced new tools.

Every decision is backed by a clear question: What’s actually needed for our users, and how can Ping Proxies make that easier? We’ve grouped the updates below so you can quickly catch up on what’s new.

Performance & Reliability

With more users scaling up their proxy operations, it immediately became a responsibility to meet rising expectations. Our focus fell on figuring out which region holds a significant share of overall traffic, which turned out to be the US East Coast.

We upgraded our US East Coast residential infrastructure, which led to a 61% drop in latency and a 4x increase in server capacity. Users in US East can now experience faster connections, better uptime, and more consistent performance even during heavy usage.

Generating proxies with us has always been simple, but we knew it could be even better. We upgraded our residential generator for advanced proxy targeting. You can now accurately filter across cities, countries, and ASNs.

With real-time availability indicators, you get to see what’s available before generating. The best part? We now offer more formats and support the SOCKS5h protocol, meaning more flexibility across tools and protocols.

Visibility & Troubleshooting

When a request fails or slows down, there shouldn’t be any guessing game. Hence, we wanted to make it easier for the users to debug issues and understand proxy behavior as it happens.

We introduced Live Network Activity, which holds a real-time stream of every proxy request your account sends. You can now monitor latency, response codes, errors, and traffic volume instantly, without having to wait for logs or piece together partial data.

What if you need more than real-time? Do you want to learn how your proxy traffic behaves over time?

We rolled out Network Observability Panel, just for it. You get a historical view and can filter activity by hostnames, users, and networks. This way, you can spot trends, troubleshoot issues, and optimize traffic distribution with confidence.

Backend improvements to our proxy infrastructure make all this possible, enabling the processing and surfacing of request logs within two seconds.

Developer Control & Integration

With more teams integrating Ping Proxies into their workflows, we noticed the need for better tools to manage, automate, and monitor usage more efficiently.

We started by launching the new API Panel inside the dashboard, giving developers a clearer way to manage API keys, monitor performance, and troubleshoot integration issues. You can now label keys, track activity, and revoke access, all without leaving the interface.

Alongside that, we introduced the Ping Proxies REST API, one of our most powerful additions in Q2. It’s focused and built for power users who want full control through code. Achieve full control over proxy generation, user management, traffic monitoring, and even billing.

Difficulty shouldn’t be the reason you hold back from using such a capable and comprehensive API. That’s why we made sure everything is clearly covered in our documentation, along with code examples in multiple languages to help you implement all actions without any struggle.

What’s Coming in Q3?

We believe in building with intent. Our goal is to keep learning, adapting, and staying close to what our users actually need. Q3 is already underway, and we’re excited about what’s coming next.

The most ambitious project for Q3 is an AI-powered proxy engine that helps improve traffic flow and reduce unnecessary costs through smarter routing decisions.

Beyond that, we’re expanding support for additional network protocols and traffic types to enhance both performance and security. We’re also continuing to improve residential proxies with new targeting options, broader coverage, and faster validation.
