2025 at Ping Proxies: Major Releases & Meaningful Progress

2025 was a big year for us. We’re grateful to everyone who trusted us with real workloads, gave us feedback, and stuck with us while we kept improving. We wanted to share a quick recap of what we built, what scaled, and what we learned along the way.
A Bigger Year Than We Expected
The numbers were huge, which is a sign of growth and proof that we served well. With 89.8B requests through our network, totalling 31PB of data, it's clear that our proxies have been used more often for several use cases.
Our customers have accessed a total of 31.6M websites over the year. The top targets were Google, Target, TikTok, Walmart, and MagicEden. Be it price tracking, content monitoring, market research, or any task, our proxies are ready to fit in and serve well.
A huge thanks to those who wanted to give us a try. More than 13,000 new users joined our platform this year, helping us achieve 94% YoY growth and pushing the momentum to a peak. All this growth has been a reminder for us to keep earning your trust. We do that by listening to you and also focusing on improving and implementing features that improve the overall proxy usage experience.
Steady Shipping, Real Improvements
Started 2025 strong with the REST API release to help users manage proxies programmatically and support different workflows. Gradually, we also added live logging and observability, because when something looks off, you should be able to see what is happening, spot patterns, and move on with your work.
We care about our users, and upon noticing residential bandwidth misuse, we wanted to help. Smartpath, our in-house AI routing tool, was the solution.
At no extra cost, we integrated it into our residential generator, and when applied, it decides whether a request should take the residential or datacenter route, saving on unintended residential bandwidth utilization. It works great for general web-scraping workloads.

In response to many customers’ requests, we also introduced Proxy User ACL Rules to allow customers to configure each proxy user with granular access controls. This grants complete control over which proxies and services they can use.

We delivered 2,432 updates across the platform, of which 14 were major releases. A lot of this work showed up as better targeting options, more protocol and mode support, stronger controls for teams, clearer visibility into usage, and smoother ways to build on top of Ping as a reseller or partner
Ping for the Proxy Community
We take pride in contributing to the proxy community. Learning about how our tools are making a difference, we extended free tool offerings.
Our free proxy tester is already winning hearts for being the most reliable, quick way to validate whether a proxy setup can reach a target and spot issues, backed by clear, actionable explanations.

The IPv6 Website Compatibility Checker quickly shows whether a domain is reachable over IPv6. Avoid reformatting issues when working with large proxy lists with Proxy Formatter. Paste the existing list and convert it into the exact structure that apps, scripts, or browser profiles accept.
Choosing a reliable DNS resolver is hard when most public lists are static, incomplete, or outdated. Our DNS Directory helps pick resolvers based on how they behave in real-time rather than guessing from stale data. Gain access to a live, searchable view of public DNS servers, with included filters, security features, and common filtering modes.
Trust We’re Grateful For
Trust is built with time. We are grateful that many of you kept choosing Ping, and we tried to earn it in the most practical ways we could, and a big part of that is support.
In 2025, we resolved 6,103 tickets, and we closed the year with an 80% CSAT score. Be it help with an issue, support, or feedback, we’re always ready to help.
We’re glad to find satisfactory responses. Ping holds a 4.8/5 on Trustpilot and an 8.7/10 on Proxyway, where they described our experience as “Spick and Span.” We are thankful for reviews like that because they tell us we are getting the basics right and remind us to keep raising the bar.

Where We’re Headed in 2026
We will continue to listen, ship, and make our network even more reliable. The year ahead is going to be very exciting for our customers, packed with improvements and feature releases.
Our goal is to continue improving residential network performance and expand our proxy offerings with mobile proxies. We’re focusing further on fingerprint resistance (ISP and datacenter), so the traffic behaves more consistently where fingerprints matter.
Apart from the above, we’re also taking steps to build extensions and applications that make it easier to use your proxies in the tools you already rely on. This includes support for agentic proxy tooling designed for more autonomous, workflow-driven use.
Got an idea you’d love to see on our platform? 🤩
